Now Offering The Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Are you feeling both excited and nervous about your upcoming birth? Overwhelmed by the countless decisions ahead in pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood? You're in the right place. The Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class is an interactive online series designed for today's busy families. As an EBB® Instructor, doula, and integrative lactation specialist, I'm here to guide you through evidence-based information in a friendly, approachable way.

You'll learn about medical and non-medical birth options from the comfort of your own home, while also receiving skilled mentorship and connecting with other expectant parents. By joining this class, you're taking a powerful step towards becoming an active, informed participant in your pregnancy and birth journey.

Why I Became an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor

When I first became a doula, I was struck by how often parents-to-be would say, "I wish I had known this earlier!" There's so much valuable information about pregnancy and birth that parents expect to receive from their care providers, but often don't due to the constraints of our healthcare system and the Medical Industrial Complex.

I believe that putting knowledge directly into the hands of parents isn't just important—it's essential. Throughout my career, I've been passionate about empowering parents to make informed choices about their birth experiences. Evidence Based Birth® has consistently been my go-to resource for clear, accessible, and evidence-based information for parents.

I'm a total birth nerd who loves talking about all things pregnancy and birth and ensuring that everyone—from those on their preconception journey to expectant parents—feels supported and informed about their options. Being an Evidence Based Birth® instructor gives me the opportunity to dive deeper into this passion. I particularly love that I can teach classes for both expectant families and professionals, from Savvy Birth 101 for those in early pregnancy to Comfort Measures for L&D Nurses, offering clinicians Continuing Education credits.

I'm so excited to mentor you and your birth team in evidence-based care, comfort measures, and advocacy. My goal is to ensure that you approach your birth and parenting journey with courage and confidence, and most importantly—joy!
